The plans include a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) less than 2 km from Douglas Ewart High School, with no credible safety assessments, emergency plans, or protections for our local wildlife, peatland, or rivers. This industrial-scale project threatens our rural landscape, heritage, and public safety.
